And, the team coming off the BCS bowl with a magical recruiter did what? And, with another year thereafter, what? I think you need to ease up on the Jameson.

If you take out #1 and #2 who are both leaving, we move up to 7th.

Our conference schedule may not be against the teams we want, but, at the end of the day, the 2013 Big East season will be very competitive and fun to watch. Here's to finishing in front of Louisville and Rutgers.

Those appear to be Rivals ratings as opposed to Scout/ESPN/247...

Athlon has it flaws but it does not suggest only 5 star teams can be successful. But I am having trouble arguing w/their conclusion that we are who we are. Are we suggesting we are better than say 70th amongst BCS teams? We certainly have not made that case on the field.

Rivals ranked us #101 in 2011. Just to point out how ridiculous that is, Fresno State was at #84 with four 3 star recruits (no 4's or 5's) while we had eight 3 star recruits. Fresno State was 17 spots better than us in 2011? Doesn't make much sense. Yes, 2011 was not our best year in the recruiting rankings, but the fact that FHCRE ditched us in January 2011 had a little something to do with that.

Anyway, I think it's more likely we will find a coach/coordinator that can coach the heck out of 2 and 3 star recruits than we will finding a bunch of 4 and 5 star recruits that want to come here.

Yeah, no kidding. Let's start seeing this talent level before complaining that we should be rated higher. Randy never recruited well and Paul is . . . . well, we'll see.
