I think Mississippi State and SC are better than Tennessee especially with the loss of Hayes. Marquette at 10? With no Tori McCoy (I think)? I dont see it. We will see when they play Mississippi State

The rankings were made prior to Hayes leaving UT. Unless there is a major injury, I can't see anyone keeping ND from winning it all. The definitely should be the favorite. But then, maybe Sheperd (?) and Turner will have the same problems that Z and Napheesa had in adjusting to each other. I believe they can go at least eight deep.

At first I thought the poll was for the men because a CBS Sports poll has the Tennessee men's basketball team ranked in the top 5.

Annie Hayes was not a huge loss. I would rank the UT women about 10. Only an 11 player roster, but lots of talent.

That's a big loss for the Lady Bears. When Kristy Wallace went down, Morris stepped in and did a very solid job running the offense.
