if they dont play like this, we probably arent going to score more than 35, 40 points a game. Carlton is just a complete jekyll and hide

They really started to come on strong with 8-10 minutes left in the first. Just too little too late. Not a terrible performance. If Carlton didn't no-show we probably win.

I can't be the only one that thought this game was more fun to watch than many of the games with Adams and Gilbert. Loved how aggressive everyone was.

Not sure if we would have played any better.

I thought everyone but BA had some positive momments
I was pleasantly surprised at the determination and with the outcome - thought for sure it was going to be a complete blow-out especially on their home court
I agree that Sid and Polley stepped up but they both lack basic defensive skills that really hurt the team
Just glad the 1st game without both JA and AG wasn't against Houston or Cinci!!!

Very surprised it was closer than I thought. Could have cut it to 2. One thing I never noticed with Polley was how he stands off to the left when shooting free throws. Did I see that fight or just old eyes?

I love Wilson, see a lot of potential in him. Polley has been a bust to me, can't stick a shot when he's needed to, glad to see he finally did something

Maybe he'll grow from this and stop playing scared, like a dear in the headlights

I honestly think this team can make a run. They play with more aggression. They play with pride. Compared to last year this team is different

This L is on the guards
Don't see it that way - Defensively, Memphis had their way in the lane and too many easy shots inside earlier in the game. The guards weren't great but UConn was missing their two best guards, not their best wings/bigs
Everyone had a hand in the loss BUT nearly everyone had a hand in making it closer than many thought

Loved Cobb's passing, resulted in a few threes.

That inside out is great. Especially for a team that only played on the outside all season. The passes are crisp and accurate as well. Would've been nice to have more of this season.

What guards?
Lol whatever you want to call the group that went 11-26 with 7 turnovers and 8 assists.

Really though it’s hard to expect them to win without Gilbert or Adams, so I wasn’t really upset with anything. Carlton had a rough game but he had some tough calls go against him.

Unfortunately the remaining schedule won't allow it

Limit the turnovers by at least ten a game and we will win. When we get 12 or more a game we lose that simple

Neither of them started fast. So far, both Polley, Wilson and especially Adams only get comfortable when we get behind.

Cobb has court vision and is our best passer
I agree he plays a key role with this team. He needs to be more agressive that what I see anyways
