Consolation game starts at 9:00 a.m. Mountain Standard Time.

The Sun Devils have not been under .500 since the 2011-12 campaign. At 11-11 CTT needs a victory over the Tigers to keep that streak going.

The Devil always bring the D. Mizzou has had an interesting campaign with very close losses to ranked teams and it appears they can score. (They ave 75 a game I guess they can flow the offense). If the Devils can somehow score more than 55 Hanson and crew have a chance.

Mizzou is playing without it's second highest scorer.

ASU has lost 4 of their last 5, Mizzou 3 of their last 5. In their two most recent victories, Missouri scored 96 pm Florida and 76 on MSST.

Devil's lone victory over the past 5 was the AMAZING 2 point OT victory over the kitties.

ASU off to a decent start. Discovered some offensive flow and lead 10-6 after Hanson's three with 2 1/2 minutes left in the first.

I was listening on the ASU radio network with Jeff Munn. They just lost the video feed, so they have gone dark.

edit - I just picked up the audio feed from the Missou site.

Currently 12-10 Devils with 6 minutes remaining. Asia Blackwell just picked up her 2nd foul. Missou announcers complimenting Devils on strong screening, although so far no comment on Devils flow. The Missou announcers are great!

Although not as good as Jeff Munn. They compliment Devil D - they are impressed with energy and physicality of Sun Devils as we move to 16-10 lead.

Winner of this contest gets a third game.

Announcers at Missou observe ASU is offensively challenged. 😃

Just got Jeff Munn and ASU audio back. Tied at 16. Munn points out that Missoui has hit over 50 per cent in 9 games this year . . . and senior Bre Sanders hits a THREE!

21 - 18 Devils with 2 minutes remaining in the first half.

ASU leads at the half 23-19. Missouri averages 75, they scored 75 yesterday in their loss. They are clearly frustrated with the ASU defensive flow.

Those Pac-12 defenses are something else. If an SEC team is getting frustrated about a defense, are their defenses really good in that conference?

Tigers have scored four points in the third quarter with 4 minutes remaining. Devil's 29 Tigers 23 it looks like CTT has a great defensive flow today. Devils may score enough points to win this one.

Hanson with a three the Devils up by 10 with 7 minutes left in the game. Devil's in a flow.

Freshman PG Jaddan Simmons with her 17th point and Devils lead is 11 with 3 minutes remaining. Devil's appears to have flow offensively and definitely strong defensive flow.

With under 2 minutes left it appears that as you will play Houston Monday night. The Houston New Mexico game was canceled due to possible covid in the Lobo program.

Hanson hits a three to extend the lead.

Great defensive effort by the Devils. ASU freshman point guard Jaddan Simmons with outstanding game with 18 points, 7 boards and dimes.

.Both Missouri announcers and Jeff Munn commented on the AMAZING team D as a Tiger team that averages 75 points was held to a season low 39, 35 points below their season average. CTT really had the team prepared and in addition to incredible defense there was enough offensive flow to beat an SEC team that played Texas AM, Arkansas, Tennessee and Kentucky within 5.

Proves the adage that a good defense travels well.

Or both teams did not belong in any postseason tournament...

If you look at the field, they had a hard time coming up w/ 32 teams for the field. Somebody had to participate in the WNIT.

I'm appreciative that the Sun Devils had this invite. These opportunities are invaluable for second tier programs working to improve. Practice and game time is great as well as additional exposure.

All of the players on these teams have worked hard in this covid season so it's great that these wnit and wbi games are available.

Not certain if there are Missouri fans on the BY, but a check indicates that the 39 points that ASU held the Tigers to may well be a record for fewest points scored by a Missouri team?
