Anyone who saw the second round demolition at Gampel last March, UConn versus Syracuse, knows they were at best the SECOND best backcourt in WCBB. At best.

Yeah, she`s special. The Oregon/Maryland Round of 16 game in Bridgeport last year was a blast to watch. Few if any were predicting Oregon to win, and yet they coasted past an unprepared, sleepwalking Maryland team. Sabrina led the way with 21 points and some amazing assists.

Oregon should be terrific this year, with everyone back including Maite Cazorla, a quick junior point guard from Spain, plus Ruthy Hebard and Lexi Bando.

I see that Erin Boley from ND is on their roster as well, although not eligible this coming year. Kelly Graves is building a really good program out there.

Late in the season Mark McGwire's niece established herself as a pretty decent 5th starter. All 5 starters from the end of the year return, plus a few decent reserves.

Bando has an odd form to her left-handed shot, but she makes about 50% of her threes from the corners. She's very dangerous!
