So ULM gets a waiver because they self imposed a NCAA Tournament ban for 2011-2012? How nice of them to give up something they wouldn't have had anyway. They are 2-26 this season.

Holy crap, the NCAA sucks.

The NCAA is a joke. MLB with the Ryan Braun situation is a joke. There is too much selective prosecution. If they like you or feel sorry for you, you get a break. If not, too bad.

I see this as good news. From what I understand, the NCAA will meet again in April and can have a conference call beforehand in regards to the APR. In no way can they explain or justify granting these schools a waiver while blocking UConn. It would reek of personal vendetta, it would call out what a fraud they already are, and most importantly, it will speed up the dialogue on how useless they are to BCS type schools. .......At this point, I would be shocked if UConn is not elligible in 2013.
