Not the score. I don't think anyone predicted a semi blowout. What was expected was that the 4th quarter would determine the winner. Who had the better conditioning? Both teams basically played 6 and in the end it was UConn that had the legs. 40 minutes for Dangerfield, Williams and 37/35 for Samuelson and Walker. Great games for all, including the 6th man ONO who showed that she can step up when needed.
Anyone notice the interaction between Auriemma and Ogundowale in the handshake line? It looked like Auriemma said the obligatory "good game" and Ogunbowale said something and walked on shaking her head. Enough to cause Auriemma to do a double take. Not at a Pondexter finger or Michaels trip level, but IMO Ogunbowale seems to have a little difficulty with sportsmanship. It looked like she was tee'd up for saying something to Auriemma, not the ref, during the game.
