It's an away game, not a neutral site, so they will probably treat it the same as every other road game.

I am willing to bet that Army would be more than thrilled to see UConn purchase 10k tickets and accommodate seating so that our fans are consolidated.

I don't think Army would want our fans consolidated any more than they would be at West Point. I'm not willing to bet UConn would purchase any more than what they would usually receive for an away game. Even if they were, I don't believe Army would be willing to unload them all to UConn. They don't want our fans to have a better showing for their home game. There should be plenty of seats available on the secondary markets, and they shouldn't be very expensive unless they are the best seats.

When ND played Army at Yankee Stadium in 2010 all the tickets were the same price, $175 each. About twice what the regular ND home game tickets went for. I think the Yankees expect to get top dollar for games there. I think tickets for the Navy game in the Meadowlands that year were only $125 each.

You can charge $175/ ticket when you have a drawing power of ND in NYC. If the Yankees were to charge $175/ticket for Army/UConn you will have less than 10,000 people in the stadium. I know I will not go for that price and I plan on going from Boston. Here's hoping they are smarter than that.
