To me one of the greatest mysteries in WCBB is the lack of development of Amber Ramirez. She came out of HS as a shooter. Looking at her on the court it appears she's been allergic to the weight room, and has never developed her ball handling skills. She remains a defensive liability and is content to stand outside and shoot the occasional shot from the perimeter. 4 years of basketball and she rarely penetrates. That to me is the definition of the lazy player that has never been pushed to achieve. Sad. So much wasted potential.

I think Missouri is a weird team. They play through spurts looking like a solid middle of the SEC team but then they go games where they look like a junior high team.

I like their freshmen a lot though.

Looks like this is the only game still being played. God forbid we make anyone miss the 1st quarter of the Super Bowl.

Eric Frede + Christy Thomaskutty = A+ commentary

Mizzou is still up after 3; if Arky loses this game, that may keep them out of the NCAAT. The Razorbacks haven't played well, lately.

LSU also lost to Missouri, but the difference is that LSU has a lot of good wins. The thing that would keep Arkansas out is the fact that they haven't beaten anyone good.

I think Arkansas caught a break being their 2nd game after next is against a Howard-less Kentucky. They need to win that one, but yeah.... losing to Missouri is not a good look for them.

Just don't think Arkansas can afford 1 of Dungee, Tolefree, and Ramirez to be off....and today Dungee is off and their scoring can't make up the ground they lose with the rebounding and paint play of Missouri's.

I personally never saw all the hype with Arkansas. Do they have some dangerous shooters? Yes, but their tools for success aren’t something that will win consistently (bombs away from 3). They also have not played a difficult schedule

Don't look now... 2 point game.

Tie game and Arkansas has the ball with a chance to win.

Tolefree has 33 and Ramirez has 22.

Arkasnas needed all of those 33 points from Tolefree tonight. She obviously made the right choice choosing Arkansas over Mississippi State. (her last 2 options) No way she's getting so much playing time here.

Another OT game. This was quite the weekend for extra sessions.

And looks like we're headed to overtime.

I expect Arkansas to survive here -- there's a reason Mizzou is 5-16, after all -- but I couldn't agree more with @SECbbfan24 . Arkansas has lived this entire season on the hype of last year's SEC tournament. Their OOC schedule was downright bad, they haven't beaten any team with a pulse, they lost to a Cal team that turned out to be awful, and they just lost to Georgia at home last week.

I think it was 9 overtime games yesterday, and now 4 today? That's insane.

Edit: I just counted and it was 6 today. 15 in just two days.

Missouri has very minimal upperclassmen leadership to turn to during these moments down the stretch. Sad to see a good effort go down the drain. Blackwell and Franks played well. Smith did some good things but they need more from others as well

Roundtree, Chavis, and schuchts did not help the cause.

Yeah, I think some of us overestimated Amber Smith's ability to step into that senior leader role. She has looked uncomfortable pretty much all season.

It’s tough from going from the supporting cast to the player that the rest of the team turns to for a big play.

Cunningham was the heart, soul, grit and leader for that team last year. Missouri is in a tough stretch losing that caliber player. That said, when Missouri’s transfers are free to go next year, I expect a pretty big turn around for them in addition to those fabulous freshmen developing.

It's interesting just how bad they've become without Cunningham. Looks like she by herself meant more for any one team any other player last year. Case in point, Iowa isn't exactly terrible without Gustafson and they've lost even more than Missouri overall.
