I kinda get the feeling if the American loses 2 the conference will stay at 10 for football and 9 for basketball. Doesn't really make sense to add anyone else

I've heard that Aresco is working a deal with Texas that will allow them to keep the LHN. It's a good fit with easy road trips to Houston and SMU. Heck that may have been his flight to Addision.

I don't feel bad for Aresco because his annual salary is way too close to what each school nets annually, but it must suck when noone in your league wants to be in your league and they're all public about it.

Those guys also said today that Houston was a good choice because they bring the "sizzle" and they're within the existing footprint. UConn brings nothing and definitely not NYC they know this for certain.
