Aquira Decosta to transfer

I know it’s a little early in the season to start a transfer thread, but it has just been announced that 6’2” Baylor sophomore, Aquira Decosta, two games into the season, will be entering the transfer portal. Decosta was ranked 3rd overall by Hoopgurlz in the 2018 class.

Woah. Heard she had been struggling a bit in practice but that was quick. Odd time just before the season tips off. Jordyn Oliver is having a monster fall from what I heard, curious if this is playing time related. She would not be a starter until at least next year!

I guess she didn’t play in Baylor’s preseason game either, along with the other 3 sophomores on Baylor. Kim wasn’t talking about why she sat the 4 sophs. Evidently that was the end of the line for DeCosta.

When I saw this thread, I was like wow that was fast. Before I even knew which school she had transferred to, she had already transferred and then decided to transfer again.

Both her and NaLyssa Smith had SC as their #2. Just imagine the possibilities.... but it’s also possible our monster 2019 class doesn’t happen if we get those two.
