If Maya Dodson doesn’t return to ND, I could see Niele Ivey courting Barker (even though they weren’t in her initial top 5). She’ll get playing time FOR SURE. There was some mutual interest there. Sonia Citron and her are good friends. Plus, she’s played with Miles, Bransford, and Citron in June 2019 on the U16 USA Team.

But then again, she could Joni Taylor to Texas A&M. It’ll be hard for her to be “the player” and the “do it all” person at a program starting to find it’s footing again. I believe she’ll go to a school walk with it’s core already intact with an opportunity to start. However, I could be wrong at the end of the day.

It is interesting to see where she ends up.

McDaniel is from Illinois so I'm assuming she was recruited by Kelly Bond-White. Still, thought her prior relationship with Joni would result in her staying with A&M.

So, is tomorrow (Thursday) the first day for official visits? I’m pretty sure I read that it starts the first Thursday after the final four, but the rules seem to be in flux the last few years, so I’m not sure if that info is current. Also, the spring signing period starts April 13 according to what I read. So, a week from today?

I believe that the first half of April is a dead period, except for this coming weekend, which is a quiet period. Until Friday, only phone/electronic contact is allowed. Starting Friday, recruits can come to campus, but no off campus visits are allowed -- and that only lasts till Sunday.
