AP Poll Week #12

Nebraska top 5 is definitely correct but it looks so weird lol

Illinois bumps into the top 10. Good for us

BYU holds at 13 and Kansas jumps to 14, so that’s 2 more top 15 wins for us

Florida is down but still top 20. Our resume is looking goooooood

St John’s holds at 25 and Nova had a couple votes. Villanova has Seton Hall at home this weekend but otherwise is entering a pretty weak stretch to rack up some wins (PC, SHU, GTown, MU)

It’ll look even better when BYU beats Arizona tonight. Will make for an interesting debate on who’s #1 factoring the head to head.

.-.
Purdue stinks.
Big 18 teams don't seem to attack Purdue point guard like BE teams attack Silas (talking about aggressive guarding on dribble and picks). He looks so effective and yet so stoppable. Maybe Silas needs to hunt his shot more.

all 60 firsts to AZ. Geez. It's all in the wins.
They beat BYU and Uconn on the road. They deserve to be #1. We are #2 and sure we havent played our best yet but we have big time wins and our only loss is to the #1 team in the country whos undefeated. I feel pretty good being a Uconn fan right now.

People here in the East should start recognizing how good Arizona is. They play in the most difficult conference, and as such may end up with multiple losses. But when the tournament starts, IMO they are the favorite to win it all. UConn can beat them in a single game, but I think it'll take their 'A' game.

This basketball season has the largest number of heavyweights that I can recall who are all legitimate contenders to go on a run and win the title. To make the tourney even more intriguing, this is possibly the greatest freshman class ever. It's going to make for an incredible March Madness tournament.

Meanwhile, in Bracketologyland, Lunardi has UConn projected as the 1-seed in the South (Duke gets the East), with the regionals in Houston. You know who's also in that bracket? Houston, as a 3-seed. Seems fair.
