no movement in the top 13 of the AP. Marquette 8. Zags drop 5 spots to 19. Memphis went from NR to 21. Baylor still at 25. SJU 28 and Dayton 29.

A week from now, the voters will have results from the 8 SEC matchups next Saturday. Maybe they can get another couple teams into the Top 25, another couple getting votes, and somebody leapfrogging UConn in the process.

What else can the Huskies do except prepare for and play one game at a time...and win?

I'll root for Memphis, Colorado, Dayton, Baylor, Gonzaga, and especially Texas on the road against A&M.

Not UConn related, but it's sorta funny that Maryland has been in "others receiving votes" purgatory pretty much the entire season. Been first team out of the top 25 for 2 weeks in a row. Though they are ranked #24 in the coach's poll.
