I expected improvement but certainly not jumping from 9 to 26 wins. There were lots of other things they accomplished people may not have known. This was the same team that went 9-13 a year ago and hadn't won a NCAAT game in over 8 years. More than anything I am happy for the program and players. What they did has touched this community in a lot of ways. Its been amazing to see the support go up. This year, the attendance was greater than the last 4 seasons combined. I was happy to see players like Pointer, Cherry, Aifuwa get to play in front of a packed crowd and get to end their careers on a great note. Those kids deserved the world.
