Boat is indeed very likable. In August, we went to the UConn all-star game at the Mohegan and spotted Boat walking around the casino. We stopped him and asked for a picture with my daughter. He gladly did with a big smile and was quite friendly.
Really nice guy.

What a privilege it has been to watch Kemba, then Shabazz, and now Ryan. Three amazing men who emulate what college sports should be about.

With how insane the Boneyard has been lately, I'm surprised some nutjob hasn't replied with something along the lines of: 'WELL THIS MEANS THAT RYAN ISN'T FULLY COMMITTED TO WINNING ANOTHER TITLE!'

Ah, mean you no harm. But aren't you the nut job who just said it? :)

Bazz was good, so good that he was hoisted to the rafters but make no mistake, without Boat too, there would be no title last year.

Need to edit this . . .

without Boat/Giffey/Daniels/Kromah too, there would be no title last year. I'd say Bazz and those 4- take any one away, and we don't come close to winning it. I could envision it w/o any one of Brimah/Nolan/Samuel, but not easily.

Good for Ryan. I've liked him since the beginning of his UConn career.
And statements like this show how much he's grown in just a few years.

Get the degree.
Get another title too!

Don't get me wrong KO drives the culture but it's the players that carry it out. When fans can support and connect with the players its a special thing and man do these players make it easy. All about the details and they're killing it in the trenches.

It's unbelievable how we get so many high-character point guards, year after year. I think Jalen Adams will continue that trend and hopefully Tremont Waters will follow.
