Missouri is down 13-7 to #19 Virginia with the clock running down. On third down the Missouri QB goes down. He momentarily grabs his head, but otherwise looked okay. With one play left on the game, the refs took him out and a the back up QB came in cold.

I get the concussion concern, but at least talk to the kid and see if he sounds okay. Don't just yank him. What a disappointing way to end a season.

Grabbing the head is a visible concussion sign. They had no choice unfortunately.

I'm inclined to agree, and ultimately it's to protect the kid, but it's just a horrible way to end the season.
