I’m not advocating for fans to be able to walk up to the team’s rooms, bang on their door, and ask for an autograph. But geez I don’t think it’s asking too much for the players and coaches to show some love back to the program’s supporters when coming to or from the hotel. The fans at the F4 spend very good money to cheer us on. I stayed at the team hotel last year. I was on a completely separate floor and didn’t even encounter the team unless they were leaving or getting back to the hotel. The players were all super cool and loved the fan support. Clingan gave out a few high fives and signed a hat for a little kid before getting on the bus. How is that a distraction from winning the NC? It’s literally 30 seconds of their time to give back to people who traveled all that way to root for them.
