Headed off solo on Saturday to stay with a buddy who’s gone until Sunday afternoon. Flying back out of Bradley Monday night.

Anyone else headed there or have meetup plans? No tickets yet but hoping with UConn’s rank drop and Texas making the sec championship that the market will soften.

Not going. Used to travel to Austin for work multiple times a year before Covid. Would probably have found a way to get to this one.

I hear good things about the Moody center. Campus is freaking massive but Moody is right off of I-35.

For BBQ, pass on Franklin's, head to la Barbecue. The beers are just ok but Lazarus brewing is a fun spot on 6th. A former colleague used to write up The BBQ Chronicles every time they planned a group BBQ outing.

Yeah it's like anything else. Franklin will probably have a multi hour line yet there are plenty of very good BBQ spots that still get the job done and worlds better than Northeast BBQ
