Anyone else feel the UConn and the AD hates the students?

This is the XL center not Gampel. The decision to put the bar in was made as part of the agreement between the Capital Region Development authority and Global Spectrum.

I sat in was once the upper student section for the temple game. So that's not students anymore either

Those seats were empty most of the time. Takes away that eyesore.

I think the bar looks great. Great addition to the place. And they were serving prime rib sandwiches. Not that I need them, but a guy was cutting the beef right off the standing rib roast.

Students don't sit behind the band because some of their instruments obstruct the view. I'm being serious lol. As a student I personally think the student section at XL is horrendous but thats just me

I was in the upper student section today (i'm a student) and today felt like the first real student section at the XL since the start of the season. I went to coppin st. and central game (couldn't make it to temple) and I too am perplexed about the section, the bar takes away a lot from it and the ushers aren't checking tickets. The section is filled with non-students who shouldn't be there and it really is a vibe killer

The last few seasons you could see a couple of the dancers from the International Space Station.
