I didn't see this posted and was wondering if it slipped through the cracks. I looked, but $270+ isn't worth it to me.

I've got 4.

Haven't been to the NCAAs since . . . OMG it was 1981! My brother got me a ticket to the 2nd round at the Providence CC. Great seats! I saw some guy in a robe carrying a sign that said, "Go BYU smite UCLA".

Yeah, but that’s for 6 games so $45/game, which isn’t too bad looking at it that way. I bought two tickets probably 6 months ago and got midcourt seats a few rows up in the upper level. Should be a great event. Let’s hope Hartford doesn’t screw it up.

I am in. My love for college basketball exceeds my rational index by 10000 fold thereby resulting in overpaying for these tickets.

Maybe in the later stages but no way in HELL am I getting first weekend tickets to any tournament, ever.

I was in LA for the second weekend. No booze, no re-entry, half the teams suck. Only thing that made the first day of 8 hours of basketball tolerable was watching the elite eight games that weekend.

But a whole day of first and second round matchups? In Hartford? Nah I’m good lol

I bought two when they went on sale to UConn fans earlier this year, a friend bought 4 more. Should be an awesome atmosphere and time. I'd expect one of the big east coast teams (UNC, Duke, etc.) will be placed in that region which should create a great cheering for/against crowd.

Bought 6 the first week the offer came out. Got pretty good lower level seats. Looking forward to it...1st / 2nd rd games always a blast.

Presale is over but tickets go on sale to the general public tomorrow (Sat the 3rd) here.

The NCAA has changed that rule. Booze is allowed at the tournament now.
Since when? I went a year or two ago and there was no booze

I actually forgot that we had a chance to buy these earlier. I posted based on the pre-sale notice I received. Maybe I'll look for some deals closer to game time.

If Uconn gets in will they place us in Hartford as a lower seed?

Now I’m even more pissed about that

But even still, crummy first round games in Hartford in mid-March... would take a potentially literal gallon of booze for that to be fun

Heads up for those going. Unless NCAA has changed rules no alcohol sales at NCAA tournament games

Been to enough and being in the HCC - nah
I'll travel to see them
I remember going in 1979 when in Providence and saw St Johns beat Duke by 2 and we each brought in like 10 airplane bottles of JD and had JDs and Coke _ great game as I remember St Johns by 2
Also went to Providence in 1981, Worcester in 92, Hartford in 98 and Boston in 99 -

Thought about it, but I don't like getting locked into just 1 game at a time, particularly when it's not UConn and I have no idea who will be participating.

The last time Hartford hosted, parking was terrible since all the lots were already full with the normal downtown commuters. Would like to hear how the tournament organizers propose to handle this.

The UNLV cheerleaders in 1998 were as good as they get. Remember the Princeton male cheerleaders setting up a group photo with them, and shooing their female counterparts out of the shot....

Now you can get there by CTFastrack or CT rail.
