She was on the bench during OK game and participated in the post game fun. She looked ok, but of course that was on a TV screen. Can't imagine she would be hanging around the rest of the Team if she was still sick and "contagious."
She was "expected to practice Wednesday" and be ready for Friday's game.

BUT...I have NOT heard anything specific as to an update of her status.

never understood how coaches allowed sick players (especially with the flu) to be around the rest of the team while they were ill...........kind of like a couple sleeping next to each other when one partner is very ill.................God created second bedrooms and couches for a reason!!!!!!;)

Well, not to be fatalistic, but H3N2 is pretty prevalent in CT right now as reported by CT's bloated government. http://www.ct.gov/dph/lib/dph/infectious_diseases/flu/stats/thisweeksfluupdate.pdf

Multiple opportunities to contract it in daily life if you are out and about and our student athletes are certainly out and about. I would guess, pure guess, that they did the day care/school thing of not contact with the team for 24 hours after fever free. Experts also believe you are infectious for about 24 hours before you start to exhibit symptoms.

The problem for coaches etc---colds/flu's --have a period before symptoms show --that they are contagious --so when the symptoms are seen--it's too late. All they can do is make sure the team is healthy, loaded up with vitamins, then let it run it's run. You can be sure Geno and his Medico's are on top of this--it could ruin a season if not handled well.
