I was wondering how she was recovering from the injury..any news from those of you with eyes and ears on campus?

I hope she is doing well enough to be playing in the summer.

Was wondering the same thing. I hope this time off won't adversely affect the great progress she has made. I would think taking a couple (read: 2-3) weeks off would help cure some of the aches and pains of a long season, but it would seem to me that having to take upwards of 8 would start to affect the cardio and stamina. Thoughts?

Lots of time - most bones take 6-8 weeks to set, which takes you to the start of June and 1st summer session. But with a foot that takes a bit more stress than say and arm or hand, it may well be wise to keep stress off the foot for longer. She can still do some cardio and a lot of weight room as the only thing she can't stress is the foot itself so she shouldn't be losing much fitness and she should have plenty of time post recovery before the season.

she's under 20 yrs old.... not under 50, she should bounce back with no problem

After leaving the draft on Thursday, we stopped at the KrispyKreme and were delighted to run into Natalie, Napheesa, Saniya and Lou. They were all very gracious and willing to give autographs and pose for pictures. I asked Lou how she was feeling and she said great....BTW Natalie was not partaking of the donuts....she said she can't.:p They were just a bunch of goofy kids..love them!

Spoke to her at the capitol for UConn Day...and I asked her how her foot was coming along...she said fine...it was coming along just fine.
