Khalif Wyatt of Temple, knocked out, but played damn good.
There are always teams and players that impress the heck out of you, and then you look at their stats/schedules and conclude that they're just having a great week. (FGCU lost to Maine and twice to Lipscomb.) Wyatt is rated like the #57 senior by Draft Express. The "eye test" from his two games this past week doesn't line up with that at all.
So, yeah, sure he's impressed me. Comer from FGCU has looked amazing, along with most of his teammates. Russ Smith is a hot or cold player and boy is he hot these days. Jeff Withey is a really solid player who's been real tough inside so far.

Rashad Anderson against Alabama looked like a version of Chuck Person!

Everyone is saying that Sherwood Brown for FGCU is the main guy...But Comer is passing so well that the entire team looks great. He is finding open guys in spots to score on like 80% of their possessions. He seems to have no interest in anything but finding open teammates. He also has tremendous court vision. He also brings great energy to the game.
He is extremely impressive. He seems like a fantastic teammate.
He played on the same HS team as Austin Rivers. Probably never touched the ball.

He also looks like Dracula. Good player, but a bit out of control at times. Then again, that's their style--go out, have as much fun as possible, let the chips fall. Love those leapin' white guys, too.
I agree, I just think that there are some players that turn it on (lucky or not) when the lights are on.
The thing that stood out for me over the first two rounds(sorry, I don't go for the NCAA's insistence that the play-in games constitute Round One) was Marquette's team defense. They suffocated Butler in the second half.
Yep, did you see the ESPN article that he watched a lot of old-school Pete Maravich videos? Not sure about Maravich's sanity level, but he is definitely the source code for Comer's style. Lineage Pistol Pete 1.0, White Chocolate (a mutation), Bazooka Brett 2.0He reminds me of a less insane Jason Williams. He has made a lot of those players look fantastic with his vision and savvy. Without him, they are a bunch of athletes.
