OT: Any Lego aficionados here?

I’m 45 going on 5, any other AFOL here?
I have about 400 lbs sitting upstairs. I pull out pieces to complete sets - from the late 80's, 90's and some newer - I then sell on ebay for a huge profit. Just sold 6339 Shuttle Launch Pad from '95 for $120. I make sure they're clean, with original stickers/instructions, occasionally original box (those are harder to come by) I've sold vintage space, castle, town, trains. There is quite an international demand from adult collectors.
Plus it's fun building

That’s pretty cool

Covid really got me into them last summer. It's something I could do inside with my grand nephew and grand nieces.
I have a lot of the Speed series, and of course because of my great nephew I got a bunch of the Ninjago, Marvel and DC sets. I also have some City sets.

He also loves Super Mario so I got a few of those sets, too.

I try to keep my current collection to the Speed Champions series. Built this garage diorama and swap out the cars from time to time.

I didn’t have many LEGOs as a kid, too expensive in a family of 7. But now that I have a five year old I can buy him sets and live vicariously. At least until he gets a bit older and doesn’t want my help anymore.

As my songstress der he used Lego's program and designed his own, then I would go to a site called Bricklink and buy the pieces need to build what he designed so he could it it to dad for Christmas. This is the Cabin Cruiser designed by my son, built by husband

During last summer, I remember seeing a surgeon talking about doing sets and actually playing the game 'Operation' to keep some of his dexterity since he wasn't doing many surgeries because of Covid.

My favorite set I have is the NES system set.

Dang wish I knew that because my brother and I probably went through 100+ pounds of legos as kids

People used to sell their total collections all mixed up with instructions so those were good to buy. Now they sell by the pound so you have no idea what you're getting.
Sometimes I have luck at auctions or tag sales. But harder to get what I'm looking for.
