Did UConn show any interest in the back from Ansonia who gained 10+ yards a carry and was CT's Walter Camp's POY? Quintez Whittle ran 233 times for 2,656 yards and 36 touchdowns this past season Link

From the look of his Twitter follows, it appears he's headed FCS/D2 ... still pretty competitive though... but, who knows at this point... can't just base on social media follows...

I watched a few televised playoff games, and he’s a mostly straight ahead runner. Not blazing fast or shifty. Ansonia routed Bloomfield to win Class S, but they got lucky to beat Woodland. Took a long td pass with no time left. And they don’t throw very much (3-4/game?).
