Answer Songs - A Challenge For You!

Another view.

And finally a third. By the way, if this guys third view doesn't move you you're officially made of stone.

And this guy again with some help.

.-.
And this. He didn't have a problem blatantly ripping off Fats Domino's name, so doing the same song twice wasn't a problem either.

Chubby said if it's nice , do it twice! BTW, I think his daughter , Mistie Bass, played for Duke WBB. I always hoped that her mother was Fontella Bass of 'Rescue Me" fame, but I have no clue. It would be fitting, and so cool. ;)

She was not. Fontella was married to a former classmate of mine, the very talented jazz horn player, Lester Bowie. Also, Bigboote, "The Twist" was originally recorded by Hank Ballard and the Midnighters. So Chubby not only ripped off a name but also the song. I believe Dick Clark was behind giving him that name. I never heard Chubby give credit to Hank. The song was originally offered to "The Spaniels" but they turned it down.

Let me amend that. I don't believe Mistie was Fontella's daughter. It was never reported here in St. Louis.

I realize that is true. as I said I hoped, but had no clue. Just thought it would have been fitting somehow. I have never seen anything on line about her mother. :D Keep on doowopping ; you're good at it my friend.
