1994-2003 first round wins were at Gampel From 2004 tournament NCAA went to 'semi-neutral' first weekend pod sites (eight teams per pod, but the two sets of teams were mostly from different regions, 6 games, 2 teams advancing the the regionals) so 2004 and 2005 games were at Bridgeport 2006 was in State College, PA 2007 was in Hartford 2008 was Bridgeport 2009 went back to 16 sites but not based on top 16 teams as 8 sites had been pre-selected and 8 additions were added including Gampel where Uconn played. 2010 again 16 sites but pre-selected Norfolk, VA 2011 again 16 pre-selected sites Gampel 2012 Bridgeport (not sure how Uconn swung this one as they were top 16 team home courts) 2013 forward at Gampel The Pod site was a NCAA competition decision to try for more neutrality in first weekend games - arenas bid for the right to host 8 teams for six games over a weekend - they were not that neutral - Bridgeport being an example. Generally attendance sucked and after 5 years they went back to 16 sites but kept their commitments for the 8 sites already selected for 3 more years. Final answer 4 times at Bridgeport Harbor Yard, 1 year in Hartford, 1 year at State College, PA, and 1 year at Norfolk - so 21 games at Gampel and 7 elsewhere.
