Another UConn 1st @ SMU

SMU will be selling beer at a BB game for the first time today. Given the fond relationship between UConn fans and beer, I find this very apropo. I recall being pleasently surprised at USF when I saw they had a few beer taps going. It seemed the only folks in line were wearing UConn gear. One of the best times I had (despite the result) was watching the 2011 WBB Final Four game in the lobby of the Houston hotel packed with UConn fans. The lobby bar was so swamped that this classy joint ended up just selling beers out of garbage cans filled with ice.

On campus. The first game at the renovated Moody Coliseum. They'd played all their other home games this year at the home of the SWAC Tournament, which says so much.
