So during the game, the following funny thought popped into my head.
As a preface, in addition to being a UConn women's basketball fan, I am also a fan of all things Disney -- movies, theme parks, etc. -- and subscribe to several Disney podcasts. In the course of listening to those, the hosts have often had cast members on as guests, and i learned the following.
If you are at a Disney theme park, and a ride either goes down or is closed for the day for whatever reason, the "cast member speak" for this is that the ride either "went 101" or "is 101." Yes, folks, "101" is the Disney code for a ride being down! This derives from the fact that the freeway that runs right outside Disneyland in Anaheim (the Santa Ana Freeway) used to be US 101, before being later redesignated as part of I-5. (It is now both.)
So when we were in danger of losing, the thought popped in my head: "Oh my gosh, is the whole winning streak going to GO 101 rather than GET TO 101?"
