We brought 3,500 to fiesta bowl - they brought 35,000 to orange bowl. In our defense fiesta alot further from us. I cant stand the waiting right now

This is 100% false. We brought at least 12-15,000 to Arizona. We could easily send 20-25,000 to Miami. It's a much cheaper/easier trip.

The ACC has about a 12 year deal with the Orange Bowl, they shouldn't be worried about attendance from either school.

I saw that tweet too. We brought more than that. They didn't bring that many.

I have defended that one on national boards too. Seems too convenient that UL can say they brought 35,000 from school sales and third party scalpers/vendor sales but we don't get the same benefit. Plus Louisville to MIami is a driveable distance. CT to Arizona is not. I'm 100% convinced that had UConn gone to the Orange Bowl that year, we would have carried similar numbers.

But this is why it is important to buy and donate tickets even if you can't make a bowl game.

Sorry, liar. Have a look at the photo. Mods should start using the delete button. These Louisville trolls are sprouting like weeds.

There were at least 15k. The entire lower section was blue, along with the middle upper deck.

Also, we bought out the bar in Detroit, they loved us. They literally ran out of merchandise and beer. Charlotte loved us. And I think we had a decent showing in Birmingham considering the difficulty of that one. We probably had about 10,000 in Toronto as well.

This is my opinion, for what it's worth, ( probably not much) the things that count to conferences are TV sets and footprint. All the rest is posturing.

My family went to the Fiesta Bowl, it was a very uncomfortable, expensive, time consuming trip. We've never been to that part of the country and don't need to go back. It took us 17 hrs, door to door, due to the weather.
Florida would have been more appealing.

You need to step off of the ledge, there are so many variables as to why we only brought 3.5k to the Fiesta and I'm not going to get into that, plus the georgraphy of where Lousiville and the orange bowl.

Screw the variables, the number just isn't accurate.

If they're going by those numbers then OU brought 7k. Someone needs to let everyone know how poorly OU travels.
