Apparently Xargay had retired, having last played in 2020 in the Euroleague for Girona, until deciding to take a training camp contract with the Mercury this year. Maybe planning on one last Olympics trip with Spain.

Good for her, that's awesome! Not that it matters in the least bit, but I find it refreshing and on brand to see Stewart propose in a candid matter without a lot of glitz/hoopla. Reminds me of the famous story of her signing her NIL on the hood of her car. All the best to the happy couple.
