La Vuelta a España This is so bush league. I am watching since I have Peacock. Yesterday's stage 16, they called an audible near the end of the race so that it ended with 8 km remaining which would have been the start to the climb finish. Protesters ruined the end of the race. Riders are trying to compete with different strategies and goals and the early finish ruined it all. The other day a protester tried to run in front of the peleton and he tripped, but 2 riders still crashed. Another earlier stage 11 was cut short with no stage winner declared because of protests while Jonas Vingegaard wearing red was competing for the stage win. It seems way too dangerous to even hold the race if they can't secure the crowds. "We decided that if there is an incident, we would try to neutralize the race and then that would be it because in the end racing to an undefined finish line is not really fair sport," Bahrain - Victorious' Jack Haig said https://cyclinguptodate.com/cycling/cut-trees-thumb-tacks-and-road-blocks-vuelta-peloton-afraid-of-increasing-aggressiveness-of-protests
