She's actually taking fewer shots than at any time in her career. It just seems like she's shooting more because they're all going in.

Minutes played per shot
9/10 738 minutes, 144 shots, 5.13 mps - .382%
10/11 1263 minutes, 240 shots, 5.3 mps - ,435%
11/12 1097 minutes, 194 shots, 5.7 mps - .438%
12/13 143 minutes, 28 shots, 5.10 mps - .750%

As a point of reference, last year the team attempted a field goal every 3.4 minutes. The gunner on the team was Mosqueda-Lewis, who averaged just 2.4 minutes between shots.

I think you are misinterpreting your own numbers. If you want to look at mps, as you did, then lower numbers mean taking more shots in the same period of time.

If you look at spm, the numbers are going up, but not by much, so she is taking more shots. However, your point is taken that it seems like more because more are going in. Her shots per minutes are the highest of her career, but it is so close, that if she doesn't take a shot in the first minute of the next game, it will no be true.

I wouldn't say it that way, because the team took a shot, on average, every 40 seconds. The average player on the team took a shot every 3.4 minutes, but that's a different thing.
