Remember that MSST do not play in the AAC so the schedule can be a little weaker. Especially when you play South Carolina, Tennessee, Kentucky, Texas A&M and Missouri.
The Vancouver Showcase will be loaded and Marquette and West Virginia are good teams.
Nah. This ain’t it, chief.
I’m not sure what happened because their OOC schedule last season was actually decent. So I was expecting better this year, but instead, it nosedived.
SEC teams can schedule tough, SC and Tenn do it yearly. Even when MSU had really strong teams they usually scheduled like this. State is on the scene now. A legitimate power nationally.. it’s time to join the fray and schedule big home and away games with top teams. Oregon was a nice start, but I’m not sure how you don’t have a plan to replace them or continue the series after they rotated off the schedule.
SC’s OOC schedule last season: Clemson, Maryland, Oregon State, Baylor, Duke (game cancelled due to weather), Purdue, UConn.... not to mention other better than average D1s like Drake, Temple and Dayton.
Tenn’s OOC last season: Clemson, Oklahoma State, Texas, Stanford, Notre Dame
Mississippi State’s OOC: Virginia, Texas, Marquette, Oregon, Washington
WHAT TF HAPPENED?
