Or the fact that what an announcer says actually means nothing to the game. Players either make plays or they don’t.

I guess they just assumed that a guy who hadn’t missed all season, would make the two most important free throws of the season. I know I did.

That's a very common thing for announcers to say, they said something similar 25-30 times during the game

I do. I also feel bad that we didn’t play any defense at all on the previous play, that cut the lead to 2.

He definitely felt bad, you could see him at the start of OT asking everyone else to pick him up

We need to twll ths team the front of the rim is not the target on 3's and that you need to hit free throws at the end of the game to win. Cole looked worse then good most times today. It stunk to see us give them the OT period. That game was ours for the taking and we should be 4 and 0 with a defeat of a top ten team today.

People seem to focus on Coles free throws but late in the game there was some absolutely horrible basketball played on both ends of the court by the TEAM!!! Horrendous!!!

Way to much clutter on screens as you are trying to watch the games.

The one that left me scratching my head a for a second was the 'Spaulding Sandwich' comment when I believe it was Cole's shot that was blocked. "They used to always call that a Spaulding Sandwich".
I've played and watched hoops for 40ish years and I've never in my life heard that on any playground or TV broadcast. I think they just make stuff up as the go along like saying UConn/Hartford is an inter city rivalry.
