Congratulations to Anna! First game is November 11 versus Albania -- the stream starts at 1:35P. Broadcast link is below.

I have to wonder if the draw of playing for her national team was one of the deciding factors for foregoing transfer and just heading back home.

I was going to start a thread about this. Do people want to change this a general EuroBasket 2023 thread or to have a new one?

Also, the stream may be geographically limited and FIBA should have a YouTube version. Their second game in this window is against Turkey.

Of note, the full squad that these players were picked from includes her younger sister Agata:

While Agata is unlikely to be involved in this unless there is an emergency, the sisters could face each other in club play later this month.

As expected, Gabby Williams was named to France's squad for their qualifiers against Ukraine and Lithuania:

Kiah Stokes was the only naturalized player named in Turkey's squad for games against Slovenia, who plays qualifiers despite being reserved a spot as co-hosts, and Poland.

Hana Muhl was named to Croatia's extended squad according to her club team, but not picked to participate in training camp immediately.

Anna had 13 points and 5 assists in 20 minutes:

Even playing for UConn could not prepare her to play in a game where her team wins 125-19. At least Albania consistently fields a team for this (looking at you Norway).

Kiah had 11 points and 16 rebounds in 27 minutes in Turkey's 78-62 win over Slovenia:

Tough game for France as Gabby played 21 minutes in their 90-71 loss to Ukraine:

10 of Anna’s 13 points came in her first six minutes on the floor, two drives to basket, two threes, leading scoring in first quarter, after which everyone got in the act with seven Polish players scoring in double figures.

Gabby had 14 points in 20 minutes as France bounced back with an 83-56 win over Lithuania:
