I'm pretty partial to our UCONN girls, but Angel was the best player on the floor today!

I sometimes criticize Angel when she tries to do too much. Despite a load of talent on her team, she needed to do it today. Well done!

No question in my mind-- the block of the apparently sure layup was the play that won the game. Defense and offense were energized.

The great thing with this team is that in almost every game to date, a different player has been 'the best player on the floor'. They are all capable of wearing that cap.

Going forward I'm sure we will continue to see a different player step-up when needed in each game. Yesterday Angel stepped up big time. She played great defense put up some badly needed points.
