You gotta feel good about yourself after listening to Andy Gresh.

You can’t possibly be as bad at your career as Andy is at his career.

I get it. It's UConn v UMass. It expected you mix up the team names occasionally.

Andy is exceptional at missing basic facts such as player names, referee calls on penalties, down and distance, offense and defense sets. You name it and Andy gets it wrong.

Highlight today was the Gaithing TD and the defensive PI. At the exact moment Gresh stopped eating his DD donut, he started to say it was 100% offensive PI right as the ref called it defensive PI and Gresh then doubled down with ref must have signaled the penalty wrong.

I am certain a two year with limited college football exposure would do better.

Both of them mixed up the names all day long.

It's no surprise that he is unsure of his future in broadcasting with UMass move to the MAC. I remember when he was on the radio with Joe D.

That whole PI chain of events was the most absurd thing I've ever seen called by a commentator. It was even worse that he stuck by it after the replay showed clearly defensive Pi and NO indication of the WR pushing off or straightening his arms as he claimed. I just laughed when he went through that whole sequence.

Gresh was talking about how effective Brown was setting up UConn with great field position with his KO returns. And then said things like that won't show up in a box score. Because, KO return yardage isn't tracked, nor does it show up in box score. SMDH.

Gresh was trying very hard to convince the refs it was offensive pass interference. Almost sounded like he had a gripe against CT and UConn in general ... Bad look for a color commentator. Even tried to call the UConn punt return unit for a penalty, that was clearly called on Umass. Dude has a serious problem staying objective.

I turned to the radio broadcast about 4 minutes into the first quarter. Couldn't listen to him at all.
