from the press conference:

@desmondconner
Coach P said McQuillan has a chance to be ready for Thursday, was doing some work in practice today. A. Adams had shoulder surgery out 8wks

Sucks for Adams....I was excited to see him play. I'm glad we have an elite athlete if nothing else, in Obi to replace him. Very glad that McQuillan is looking like a go for Towson as he is at a position of need for us. Going back to Adams, I wonder if they will end his season and look for a med red shirt or push him back in when he is ready. If he just had the surgery 8 weeks off we put him returning probably for the UCF game. Which means he would miss exactly half of the season (6 games).......I dont know I guess I'd say he would want to play the rest.....there are no guarantees when it comes to injuries so even if he gets an extra year he would have to avoid one during that year too. All depends on his recovery though. Here's to a speedy recovery AA...

Shoulders suck. They never rarely come all the way back.

Tough to hear, hope he heals quickly, I was excited to watch him play. Obi will get at least some good experience out of this. I think he's athleticism will be key. Looks like the position has some depth to it with Lee and Marder though so let's see what they can do. Time to step up.

Everything we've heard about Obi from PP has been very positive, he's got the talent... hope he learns quick in game situations too.

Say what you want about P. We have some depth especially on D. I hope that Jones does not have to go back and play S. I hope that Marder can handle the load when Obi is out.
