Sounds about right. For me the most frustrating thig about AD was not being able to watch him develop like THabeet or Okafor. I would have loved to see him here for two or three years and develop a post game. I'm afraid he may never developReally efficient for 9 mins

He looked a little winded at times and he was a bit disengaged occasionally, but overall it was a very good debut for him, I thought.
Right, because Garnett and Bynum stories are the norm. Fact is, tons of kids have potential, but only a few have the drive, only a few fall into the perfect learning situation. In all honestly I don't think you can say college or the NBA is a better learning experience. I guess I'm selfish because I'd rather see him develop here , contribute and win than sit on a bench develop and succeed a few years down the line in the NBAIf Garnett and Bynum can develop why not Andre. Getting full time basketball coaching, his own personal big man coach, seems like a recipe for success for right minded kid.
What makes you think that? He has NO post gameHe's going to be a very good NBA player and I think it will happen faster than most people expect.
Garnett was extremely polished when he entered the NBA - never shot lower than 47% over a full season or under 70% from the FT line. Amare might be a better example(and not just because they look related). If Garnett and Bynum can develop why not Andre. Same could be said for Stromile SwiftBecause he's a freak of nature and he will be working on his game 24/7 with specialists. Right now he is already a pretty good defender and very good shotblocker, he is going to get buckets just out of sheer size and athleticism. The coaches love his approach and have already seen major improvements.
And in reference to your other post, how was he the most consistent player on last year's team?
They need to show him the Bill Russell reels. He needs to block shots to teammates, not the floor or the seats.Because he's a freak of nature and he will be working on his game 24/7 with specialists.
