UConn men's basketball freshman Andre Johnson Jr., of Bristol, has secured a $25,000 NIL sponsorship deal with Degree Deodorant.

Makes you wonder if NIL opportunities will help us recruit a higher caliber of walk-on. I'm sure there's plenty of local D3-bound kids that would take the cut in playing time for an opportunity to get some money and a chance at a championship ring.

All the walk-ons I knew were looking into coaching or the operations side of thing.
