In 2004 I was lucky enough to go to the Final 4 in San Antonio but flights there were crazy expensive so I flew to Houston and drove over to SA in a rental

Took a random exit to grab a bite to eat in Katy TX And the rest was history

Wife and I flew into Austin yesterday and are now driving to Houston ( long story). Just pulled off again randomly in Katy

Taking this as a little mojo bump. And if ur wondering what’s so special about Katy i would just respond IYKYK

Also Buc-ees is unreal

Katy, TX: the city that produced "Our Goalie!" This is serious mojo contribution.

I wore my 2014 championship shirt on Friday. I will pull out my 1999 never worn before championship t-shirt and wear it for this game as my offering in support of your Katy, TX journey.

Hooper, I spoke to you on the phone back in 2004 about tickets for the Final 4 in San Antonio. I couldn't go and regretted it immensely. 10 years later, I made it to Glendale, got my picture taken with Big Red on the way to the arena, and the rest is history...

Home of Roger Clemens! My ancillary mojo contribution is that if you're stuck somewhere and don't know where to get wings, any chinese take-out joint will do. I still get them at one closest to home and sauce them myself.

Usually, the years UConn does well, I am making some kind of big transition in life.

99 - Lived in OL near the lake, first year of HS in Connecticut. = #1
04- University in Maine for freshman year =#2
09- Moved to China = FF
11- Lived in OL, near the beach this time, beat cancer =#3
14 - Moved to Washington DC. =#4
23 - Serbia. =#5
24 - New apartment, new Job. =#6
26 - switching careers. = .....

I’m not quite sure of how that transpired. Was UConn primarily or only going to see Michael LeBlanc and stumbled on to Voskuhl? They wanted to see both teammates all along? Jake signed before LeBlanc did. It worked out very well.
