With all of our attention, threads, and comments over the last year on EDD isn't it amazing that there hasn't been a thread or even comment in threads that I have seen that mentions Delaware being eliminated from the NCAA tournament?

No opinion, just an observation. I would have expected much discussion.

Just follow the thread. You will see plenty of Delaware/EDD game discussion.

The best part of Delaware being eliminated is knowing that we won't have to hear the announcers refer to EDD by name every other second. EDD is an outstanding player and she got the same media treatment Maya Moore occasionally got. The whole focus of ESPN's broadcast was on her and it got tedious. Not her fault in any way. Just another example of some of the really mediocre coverage we occasionally get in the women's game on ESPN.

Eh- when ESPN has an angle, any sport, they beat it to death. The 24/7 news cycle necessitated this. Then again, they're largely responsible for creating that cycle.
