As he adjusts to college life, and learns what it will take, Bouknight glances up, as all newcomers do, at the array of former UConn stars on the walls at the Werth Family Center.

“I just know that now that I’m here, there is an expectation that has to be met,” he said. “This is UConn, basically, and we have to live up to that name and keep that legacy going.”

It is interesting that he notes that he often scrimmages against Gafney and not with him. So I think that confirms Hurley is expecting him to start. Just not sure if that means SF or SG.

My biggest takeaway as well
He and Bouk still look thin. I think that impacts our ceiling this year. I'm exited to see Dan Hurley players here and see us actually playing Hurleyball.

There is a lot of thin freshmen that make a big impact every year. Bouknight and Akok are going to help us win more games because they are talented/skilled. That is still the most important quality of a basketball player. Of course, extra strength will help and they are working hard on it.

KD is a twig and hes the best basketball player in the NBA. Basketball skills can be improved upon a lot more easily than trying to pack muscle on to a lean frame

Ray Allen was also a twig.
