Calapari had to act like he was excited for him to come back, but how badly was he burning inside about that decision? UK is lucky they got their championship when they did because without a rule change on age limits, this type of stuff is probably more likely to happen than a championship is.

Calipari said he looks out for his kids yet he let's a kid like Archie Goodwin, who is not close to being NBA ready and this could cost him his career, leave for financial gain? He's such a dips*t!!

Goodwin is going to go in the first round and get a guaranteed deal. If Napier was in that position and decided to leave everyone would be wishing him the best.

If Calipari can keep that lockeroom from fracturing next year, it's going to be a masterful coaching job. There's going to be a number of players that will probably be unhappy with their playing time next year.

Goodwin may go in the first round, real late, get a small guarantee and play in the D league never to resurface. He needs 2-4 years of college basketball to help him prepare and this past year saw him look real good early and not so good late. He's a nice player - NOT ready at all!!

Do you have any conception of the difference between getting drafted in the first round and the second round? Do you have any sense as to why a kid who's going to go in the first round might decide not to come back to school? Do you deny that if Napier was going to go in the first round he'd probably be out the door and people wouldn't second guess him? You lose your mind over this Kentucky stuff.

I have a concept.......would you like me to name all the guys in the past 10 years who were drafted in the first round after leaving early and have not seen an NBA paycheck since their original contract???

This is NOT a Kentucky thing at all Crackhead, this is a kid who is weak and will be gobbled up in the system beginning next year from what I saw. There's a lot of Goodwins out there and not all of them get better! The Bazz comparison is no good....he's a junior and will not get a lot better in all reality. Goodwin's a kid and can work on his game for 1,2 or 3 more years in college and progress to star status........

Plus with the Harrisons, Young and potentially Wiggins, there's the potential for his minutes to get swallowed up and end up possibly needing another year to show what he has. Coming out this year was the right move by him.

It's scary when you are going pro because incoming freshman might swallow up your minutes isn't it? The thing is it makes it easier for Calipari with minutes so he helped him out, and you're right it may be in his best interest rather than sitting more or transferring and sitting all year!

I mean thats the system Calipari has created. You have a year to show what you have or a player more talented could be walking through that door. It might not always work that way, D Lamb and T Jones both remained as starters as Cal didn't recruit for their position, although Jones would've went higher in the previous draft, but it has happened. Willie Kemp was once a highly sought after recruit who had to basically wait for his time to come after Calipari brought in D Rose and then T Evans. This year Ryan Harrow had only a year to really show something cuz he knew the Harrison that plays PG was coming in the next year and he wasn't going to play much in the upcoming season. Not always the best situation for players if you need more seasoning.

Wiljer will have to be the Miller of the Davis lead Nat. Champ team. I don't see that happening. I think this has to effect the Wiggins decision or we can expect a decommit from the 2013 class if Wiggins signs with Kentucky. If they add Wiggins with no decommit this will be quite the show. A show of massive underachieving or a potential cakewalk to a Nat Champ. with no more than 2 losses max.

I don't even want to think about this Kentucky team adding Wiggins...The only thing you could hope for at that point is awful chemistry and even then I think they would have so much talent it would not matter.
