Wayyy to close to "amida" scared me that there may have been a typo...

Seriously, what could possible have hurt this guy. He looks like a super hero.

wtf is it with all these damn injuries this year...

yet another reason to fill 13 schollies wit real playas

novelty: they may come in handy

did you know? real players want PT? and if there's no PT they transfer, and if they transfer then we don't care about academics because kids staying makes up 50% of the APR

and if they get pissed and drop out before transferring, an honest program like UConn that doesn't cheat on it's APR reports gets banned from the tournament

nope, you don't fill your roster with players, you back-fill with smart kids who don't mind sitting

Please explain Kentucky to me.

Please explain Kentucky to me.

Ryan Harrow and Kyle Wiltjer, both top 25-ish recruits.

Beyond that, U is a different animal as players on the bench look to next year for possible PT since its likely those in front of them will be gone (of course, new top 10 recruits are coming in to replace them).

our own history is not enough?

then how about "if you leave for the NBA, no APR problem"

PS: do you really think it's practical to expect us to recruit ten kids who can start?

wild will: with this yr rosterrd, Herr Tolk as 13th depthcharge would log major timber
You kinda proved Willie's point. Tork transferred because of playing time. Freshman version of Tork would not be any help to this squad. We are probably not going to get recruits that are more talented than Dan Guest to sit at the end of the bench.

We don't get a lot of talented recruits. They go to NC, Duke, Arizona, Wisconsin, Gonzaga, etc. They don't seem to mind taking a chance of sitting on the bench at these schools. We can't get them to come here and play.

Kentucky had nobody backing up the 1-3 last year in the title game (other than 5 token minutes from Hawkins), which is a big reason we won. We were deeper than them last year, and in 2011, when their two best guys (Knight and Jones) played all 40.

This year, they had four guys come back who were projected to be gone (Harrison, Harrison, WCS, Poythress), so they ended up with a more full roster than they usually have.
