Amazon question

So I made a couple of purchases using the link, but I have questions.

I come to the BY and click the link, but when I arrive at the Amazon site I'm already logged into my Amazon Prime account. Does the BY still get paid? Or does my prime account circumvent that process?

Just wondering before I make another purchase

This is a good question.. I’ve always assumed even though I’m still logged in that it would work

It's just an affiliate link. The URL has a bunch of referral information embedded in it. The referral information has no effect on your shopping, account, or purchasing. it just sends a flare over to Amazon that says hey, if this guy using this link happens to buy something during this shopping session, give credit to the owner of the link. That's it. Aside from the long url, you shouldn't see any effects from using an affiliate link.
