I was thinking of the early celebration by the ISU player also. If that wasn't a penalty and McCombs high-stepping wasn't, what does it take for an official to call this? A reenactment of aDeion Sanders routine from his days as an Atlanta Falcon?

Or is this one of those calls that will only surface to save a blue blood program from an upset or burn some team in bowl game?

This. The ISU no call was ridiculous. If you have the rule you have to enforce it. That was as blatant as it will get.
