CT tied w/ Kentucky, Mass Oklahoma and Penn w/ 4 (QB Tyler VanDyke, QB Drew Pyne, WR Jaden Dottin and DT Lamar Goods). Only VanDyke and Pyne are CT residents..

It's ridiculous how far PA has fallen as a recruiting hotbed. Used to seem like pretty much every NFL team had a guy or two from coal/steel country in Western PA. Now they've become Connecticut.
 
Maryland looks like a good place to be.
 
It would be interesting to compare that with the distribution of high school states on NFL rosters.
 
Would also be interesting to see the percentages on a per capita basis. More specifically, based on high school aged population by state (if that even exists). I'm sure the rankings would be shuffled around quite a bit.

If you remove the two Blue Chips that weren't CT natives, the state would rank 30th per capita.
 
Football recruiting rankings are notoriously bad. They really out to rank guys based on states where guys have actually come from that played division 1 football.
